Trinity Boys Choir is one of the most successful and renowned vocal ensembles in the world, garnering praise and recognition for the highest standards of excellence and professionalism, and enjoying a huge following amongst the public, both in the UK and abroad.


Most recent successes have included Tosca for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, soloists and Chorus for A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Opéra de Baugé and the Royal College of Music, London, Berlioz’ Te Deum for the BBC PROMS 2009, Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Requiem (alongside Iain Paton as the Tenor Soloist) with the Szymanowski Philharmonic in Cracow, a Raymond Gubbay Guest Concert appearance at the Barbican Hall this winter, and soloists and Chorus for A Midsummer Night’s Dream co-produced by Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari and Teatro Valli Reggio Emilia, conducted by Jonathan Webb and directed by Daniele Abbado in October and November 2009.


Since its foundation by David Squibb over forty years ago, Trinity Boys Choir has appeared at Glyndebourne, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and English National Opera, while their international engagements have included Opéra Comique, Paris, the Teatro alla Fenice, and Festivals such as Aix-en-Provence. The boys are especially well known for their part in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream in which they have appeared in over one hundred and fifty professional performances, and they feature in both the Warner DVD and Virgin Classics recording of this opera.


On the concert platform, Trinity Boys Choir are a popular and regular feature at the BBC Proms Concerts, and in 2006 were invited to perform before Her Majesty the Queen, as part of her 80th Birthday celebrations at a special Prom Concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The boys have also performed with all the major London orchestras, and with conductors including Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir in Spain, Germany, Italy and the UK. Trinity Boys Choir has also been invited to perform in Vienna with the Vienna Boys Choir, and in France, Holland, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Norway.


The Choir's many recordings include John Rutter's Bang, an opera written for the boys, Britten's A Boy Was Born with the BBC Symphony Chorus, and Walton's Henry V with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Singers. Trinity Boys Choir has also been featured on several Hollywood box-office hits, including Lord of the Flies and 101 Dalmatians.
